I was actually happy for you man. 2 seasons now we've been talking about basketball and me always talking about Miami. You guys got us, and played a hell of game.

I always knew you liked to hit it from behind with Miami Heat players. I'll set you up with Mario Chalmers. I heard he's looking for a cuddle buddy.
LeBron got a lil' mad at him.

That Lebron shot though.....
Jazz on a three game win streak.
Trey Burke looks like fucking shit though, and got throughly handled by MCW. Dude went from one of the front runners for rookie of the year to hopefully this guy turns out to be a slightly above average player.
Good news is even when he plays like shit, which is just about every night these days, dude is still clutch as fuck. Its like born in him. He’ll shoot 2 for 12 and then go and sink a contested three 5 feet off the line with a minute left in the game. It makes no sense.

Yea, that LBJ 3 for the win was nasty the other night. I fell asleep at halftime and woke up just in time to see the shot.
It looks like Burke is just going through a bit of a slump, I'm sure he'll start playing well again soon.
Anyone watching the celebrity all-star game tonight? It's been hilarious so far. Kevin Hart's tiny black ass is ballin' out there.

John Wall's dunk was fuckin' BEAST MODE. I loved it. The rest of the dunks were pretty boring though IMO.
I guess Macklemore going over Shaq was pretty cool too. Tomorrow's game should be fun to watch. I really wanna see LBJ on KD & vice versa. They've been talking all week about how they should play a 1 on 1 game.
I wanna see both teams just clear out to the back-court for 2 possessions and let LBJ and KD each get a go on offense against each other.

The only player I can imagine beating LeBron in a schoolyard jungle ball one-on-one match-up is Diesel in his prime.
That doesn't mean I think they're the best NBA players of all time so nobody get their panties wadded.

How do you figure Shaq could beat LeBron? LBJ would run circles around him on offense, and on defense if he forces Shaq to take a jump shot chances are he's missing.
I'm just trying to figure out your logic behind this because I really think KD would have a damn good chance at beating LBJ on the playground.

Why even clear them out. Just play those 2. I'd put my money on KD though. All day any day.

Me too. Even though Miami is my team and Lebron is a better all around player I'd put my money on KD. He has a lot better jump shot from pretty much anywhere on the court, and he's got the length to score against LBJ in the post. His defense definitely still needs some work though.

You know, you get selective memories about retired players, but in his very prime no human being could stop Shaq from driving to the hole.

That is true. When I think of Shaq now I think of bumbling big fool Shaq playing for either the Suns or Celtics at the end of his career. I barely remember how good he was when he won the championship with the heat in '06 and that was already past his prime.
With that said, I still can't see him taking LBJ 1 on 1. Even in his prime he couldn't shoot the ball you know?

Yep in a 1 on 1 I'd take KD all day. His defense does need work but a 1v1 is a whole nother ball game. Out of 10 I'd say KD wins 7.

I posted this last year but I'm still pretty proud of it:
http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1528254-complete-statistical-breakdown-comparing-lebron-james-and-kevin-durant
LeBron is more of a threat in the paint but Durant is great in the paint and more of a scoring threat from just any other random point.
LeBron is better on D but Durant is still improving.
Durant is better from the line.
LeBron is a better distributor and I think everyone except elax agrees he's overcome his problem with over-distributing and making poor decisions about when to distribute.
Durant is younger. Durant is cooler. Durant's mother did not fuck Delonte West.

That reminds me of when people say Deion Sanders couldn't tackle. He didn't have to.

Wait, did you write that article for BR? I remember reading it last year when you posted it in the NBA thread. I 100% agree with everything you just said btw and Quote:
Durant's mother did not fuck Delonte West.

I think there are a bunch of guys that could beat lebron 1v1 but that doesn’t mean a whole lot. Doesn’t make Lebron any less great, basketball is a team game and there is a lot more to it than just being able to beat your guy
