Question for those who have grown Gulf Coast...
    #1955889 - 09/26/03 10:14 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

My friend has innoculated 2 pint cakes of BRF with multispore GC. He has put the jars in a cabinet above the over light to incubate. When the oven light is on the temps are 91 deg F and when off it is 84 deg F. For those who have grown these, which temp is better? Does it even make much of a difference with a 7 deg differential? Do they like the warmer temps (91 F) or the cooler temps (84)? Thanks for any input.

Im guessing 84 would prolly be better. 91 seems a tad on the warm side.

84 Do not incubate them at 91.
