The Wizard of Oz
observations liztening to dark side of moon, a joy i have never experienced until now

the wicked witch of the west, is the law, the DEA, big brother, watching and stalking you or any other threatening authority figure. maybe the government in general... doesnt like what the group is doing so she grows poppies around them to get them to tune out of their quest.

their quest, to vizit the wizard of oz. the all knowing mystical force that holds all the answers. (cough cough LSD) these 4 are obviously kids that have fallen out of the circle and feel lost and are looking for a more fulfilling answer to life. they think dropping a few hits will solve anything. when they finally realize they can do it all on their own.

the black and white intro is like dorothy's childhood. when she is living care-free, and then suddenly their is a tornado, her life gets turned upside down. (maybe she enters highschool or something) and suddenly she is in a different world, one with all sorts of different social influences... she feels like she suddenly has all these things to prove and wants to get her slippers... um

oh yea... listening to Dark Side with it... in the begnning, she falls into the pig pen and On the Run starts... and then i noticed that when she is walking around, when Toto jumps up and she rubs her head against his, the music gets really loud and choppy and eerie sounding like you can feel the dog's primal vibrations suddenly shooting through her.

Oh, I guess I was thinking of The Wizard, the song by Black Sabbath... hehe. One of the few metal songs with a harmonica! :grin:
