the pms work but.....sometimes it says "you have #of messages" or it says "log in to check"

i was wondering if you could make it like it was before,if you have a new meassage it says you have a new message.instead of having to log in everytime just to check.

It only gives you the 'log in to check' message when it can't find a cookie on your computer containing your BB username and password. I know when we made the switch over to Linux, it caused some cookies weirdness, at least for me... I'm using IE5 and I had to go manually clear out the contents of every directory with 'cookies' in it before the Shroomery BB would work right again.

Before you go around deleting stuff off your hard drive, though, try this: first, click here to reset the cookies the UBB set. Next check your preferences and make sure 'Store Username & Password in browser memory for 1 year' is selected. Finally, submit your profile again to reset your username cookie. If this fixes your problem, great! If not, let me know what browser and OS you're using and I'll give you some more specialized advice.
