 Trouble cleaning pipe

I have a really nice side-car, lots of inside out color changing work, but it got cloggeg a few weeks ago and won't come unclogged. I have tryed boiling a few times, i'm going to try all night, but does anybody have any suggestions. I want to give it to a friend for his birthday tomarrow.

ya. im surprised you didnt know that. even without salt it should work fine. i only use salt when im cleaning a bong cuz i swish it and it helps. use LOTS of salt tho. but for a pipe i'd just soak it in iso then use warm water when cleaning it. should work good. while using the warm water you can use a toothpick to scrape stuff out, comes off easy. i did my bowl on the weekend.

yea, iv never had this much trouble cleaning a pipe, beetween the stem and the bowl thers some tricky shit that cloggs real easy

sticky shit = res. i got so much in my bong i couldnt get the bowl on and off without heating it up with a lighter, thats why i cleaned all my shit on the weekend. that plus it stank sooooooooooo bad

Scrubbing Bubbles works damn nice also, then putting salt with water and shaking it up.. gets rid of most everything.

Dont you have bong-cleaning stuff in your headshop?
Just fill it with steaming water and put some of it in. Let it rest over night and : voila! Your free to hit again!

theres some stuff called 420 solution they sell at headshops. i put it in a plastic bag with my piece and shake that bitch up for awhile and it gets 90 percent of the resin out.

like 3 cups boilling water plus a loads worth of oxy clean does a 100% clean job on my glass the oxy clean that doesnt dissolve acts as an abrasive when im shaking the bowl around.

Lately I discovered that using Iso works really well (not so on plastic, but on metal parts of bongs and pipes). I don't know where to buy rubbing alcohol from, but I had some CD cleaner, which is actually Iso alcohol solution in a bottle, so I dipped a cotton wool bud in, then swabbed away on the cone piece and voila. The resin came off like it never existed in the first place.
The only trouble is that using it on an acrilyic bong is that it leaves streaks on the plastic.
Anybody have any tips on getting resin off acrylic?

Also, I wanna add that I really DON'T recommend boiling a pipe, especially all night long...
You might come down in the morning to a pan full of broken glass and evaporated black gunk.

I almost caught my apartment on fire when I left water boiling in a kettle to make some tea and forget about it. I open my bedroom door and the whole place is filled with smoke and the kettle was melted and on fire. My smoke alarm was taken down b/c the batteries were dead and it kept beeping.
