those look perfect you have nothing to worry about but you should keep them in the dark. the steam in side was caused by the jars cooling and causing condensation, not a prob.

The jars look fine to me although I have very limited experience.My only question is if the verm should be that course I generally use a medium corseness type not nearly as course as yours.But i think any type verm will work so long as it is not the ultra fine powdery stuff.Good luch with the experiment.Peace be with you enlightened one.------------------

Its not perlite the white stuff is the brown rice. I didnt buy brown rice flour but it was bron rice and i put it in a blender for about 5 minutes until it was crushed into powder

Man does that look like perlite! Guess you'll know pretty soon if things are OK, but it looks almost like your super-fine rice powder has soaked up an awful lot of moisture and expanded greatly. those jars look fine, my friends looked like that, hes about to harvest. he also ground up the rice. good luck. XStatic

These cakes arent colonized. They just been mixed last night and they were really steamy. I used some brown rice and grinded it in a blender for 5 minutes...I think i messed up somewhere but as you said only time will tell... Pray for my jars
