TV Series recommendations wanted

These are the shows I have. I like most of them, i didn't really get into The 4400 or Hereos, Buffy and Smallville I liked as a kid but not so much any more. I "discovered" a bunch of these shows on imdb when looking up shows I already knew I liked.
Sopranos is not listed because I just started watching it and its in a different folder until I finish. I would appreciate any recommendations based on what I have. I like sci-fi a lot btw but theres a lot of bad sci fi shows....

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad come into ties for the best series I've ever seen. I'll admit I like Breaking Bad a little more.

You like allot more than I do. The only program that I know of that is missing from your list is Shameless. For the first time ever, people on tv that I can relate too. Reality drama, people who are broke, unemployed and don't live in mansions. There is a NZ thing like this that might be good, called Outrageous Fortune, I've never given it a chance, but its probably crap compared to shamless. I don't want to start any old shows, getting addicted to a program that has so many seasons to watch = watching episode after episode and not living.

Man if you like Spartacus you should check out the HBO made show called Rome. It is written , dialogued and executed so well. Set in ancient Rome. I know what you mean about watching ep after ep, but watch this show it only has 2 seasons.
Carnivale , This will be a really good one for you OP i feel even though their is an element of sci-fi to it , its portrayed very realistically within the context. Set in The great depression era.
Now this ripper of a series: The Sarah Connor chronicles which is from the same universe as the Terminator movies except it is much more 'full' so to speak as their is more time with a t.v show than a movie. Once again since you like sci fi you cant go wrong with this show.
To all of you other guys who are into Medieval historical type shows even game of thrones I suggest to you this show called The Borgia's, which is a historical depiction centered around the pope of Rome and his family.
Boardwalk empire.

True Detective on HBO. If you're into really dark, eerie, and creepy -- True Detective.
May seem like your routine cops and robbers series on the surface...trust me, it ain't.

Flight of the Conchords if you're into music comedies (band-related. If you're into older type of sci-fi, check out the 60's Outer Limits - really good and creepy ones!

The Vikings. 2nd season starts late February. If you have Comcast you can see all of season one now on on demand.

Fringe and Lost Girl are really good. One of the main characters in fringe, Walter, the scientist, is one of my fave tv characters of all time
