What is not looking right?
Tell more about the LC, what is in it?
What did you knock it up with? Spores or tissue?
Try to take a picture so we can see what is in the jar, not just the jar itself.

I didn't think it looks right compared to pictures of other lc's on the forum.
Made up of 3% mix of dextrose and light malt extract.
Using a spore syringe.
Couldn't really get a clear picture is this any better?

My question is, does it look contaminated to you? Thanks

You good bro, put that culture to work' only way to know if it's 100%

It doesn't look bad. What is it you think is not right?
It seems to me that it has parts with mycelium clouds and the rest is transparent, so no bacterial contamination to see at this point.
Going from a spore syringe to a LC is not the best way to do it, because a syringe is not 100% clean most of the time.
But you can always be lucky of course. I made a LC from a mushroom cluster with the syringe poke trough method that I put into multiple new LC's that I am still using today. Others told me that was plain luck and most of the time it will be contaminated.

So you might also be lucky, just knock some jars up with it plus, an extra LC jar as a spare and see what comes out. I do believe they are right that I was lucky with my clone LC, but at this time I'm extending my luck as long as I can till my agar work is finished.
When you make the new LC jar, use as little as one drop from the other jar to minimize contaminants to enter the jar if they would be present in the LC you have now.

knock a test jar up, always do a test jar with lc. we can't tell you if it's clean by looking at it:thumbup:
