I just went on a shopping spree, and i have no car so i had someone take me, and this fish tank heater isnt fully submergable! is there a way i can rig this? Maybe put it in a glass of water in an incubator?

some more info: The heater is 12 inches long, and the tupperware container i got is only 6 inches tall, to fit under my bed. so.... i cant just put it in a jar of water or something inside hte incubator, i gotts figure out how to get it in there at an angle.
Question. Will a fish tank heater melt a plastic tupperware container filled with water if its in direct contact with the plastic?

put a O ring on the heater and then put it in the rubbermade it wont melt

I hear ya man mine was too long as well not as long as yours was but i have mine at an angle so thats its submerged you might be able to try that. OAur cut a hole in the side of your incubator just big enough for the heater to slide in and get some silicon and silicone the fuck out of the hole.

Silicon will hold the water as long as you dont leave any cracks and allow it to properly set but like s2dope said if you got the money the summersible one would be a sure but but if your a broke joke like i am id buy some silcon, make sure you get enough for both sides of the hole and you should be fine.
