Can you get a light bulb with too many lumens? Is 1790 too high?

I keep my terrarium about 10 feet from a 5x5 window which should be suffice lighting, unfortunately I live where the weather is extremely inconsistent. Lately we have been having either a pretty intense overcast or clear sky's.
I have noticed on the sunny days my fruits grow much more rapid and more pins develop. On the overcast day's it's easily half the speed of progress if not less.
I went and bought a lamp that I can aim at the terrarium and got a 1790 lumen halogen floodlight bulb for the days that there's an overcast. Is this an overkill? I was thinking there would be more blue light and the more the better, but figured I should ask before aiming this bright as fuck thing at my cakes lol.
If it's an overkill, would it be ok to aim it at the cakes say 2 hours a day? Or could it only harm it? And what bulb specs would be optimal?
The room is a consistent 73 degrees Fahrenheit
Thanks in advance, Lyghtsout

Yeah I just looked at the kelvin rating and it's 2,900 back to wally world for me :p thanks for the responses :-) - does lumen's matter at all? Or is kelvin's the main concern?

Kelvins....but, I bought two 6500K bulbs recently. One package read Daylight 6500K. The other one just had Daylight. So I did look at the lumens to compare. One was 1150 lumens and the other was 1200, so I knew I was good to go.
