Mixing cremated remains of loved ones into mushroom substrate or into potting soil to grow plants

is it possible to mix in cremated remains of a animal into mushroom substrate at a ratio ? and grow shrooms to take in remembrance of them ?
what about breeding marijuana strains enough and creating my own strain , naming it after said person .and growing such weed in soil in which i have mixed their cremated remains ?
possibly their remains would give the product a special spiritual quality ?
by this i mean me , i want someone to do this when i die .
thoughts?

I would assume there's not very much nutritional value for growing things in cremated remains
But I could be wrong.

This sounds so beautiful. I'm going to request to have this happen with my body in my will.

I have had this same thought for when I die. It would be cool for your body to be used as a nutrient to fungi.
I have also thought about mixing my remains in potting soil and then planting a tree there. It would be a lot cooler than the traditional tombstone.

I'd assume that if you buffered the pH and adjust vermiculite accordingly for texture, you could use ashes as an additive to coir at maybe 1/2 quart to a brick. Whether it provides nutrients is another matter, but they'd be in the colonized substrate supporting life in some capacity.
It'd be a bitch if it got trich.

Can you imagine how bad you would feel if you got trich when doing this?

Since cremated remains are just carbon, they would remain in your potting soil. Plants get the carbon they use for growth from CO2 in the air.

lol. yea i have.
ashes have a LOT of nutritional value. at least burned vegetation. thats why burned forest grow back so quickly. i dono about cremated humans tho. i do see the significance in this. and personally i would like to become part of earth and live on forever even when that part of eathe dies and gives back to the eath again. better then being locked into a casket that is built to spererate and lock your body away from earth.

i dont support this particular sight but it enraptured my idea.

i find it funny how many people laugh at the idea of giving back to the earth in a positive way.
hahahahaha
use mushrooms as a way to use our bodies to give back to the earth, how stupid!

I've kept the ashes from one of my cats for years because I moved and didn't really have a good place to spread them.
I've contemplated adding some or all of them to a substrate for some reason keep talking myself out of it. The weirdness factor would undoubtedly have an influence on my trip.
