Perlite & Dry Verm, Should I bother cleaning?

Hi i've taken a peek here and there, and seen some old threads, but wanted to ask, since my perlite and verm bag have been sitting outside through the elements, should I stick it in the oven or in the PC somehow to sterilize it? It's still dry and in a bag, and then those two separate bags are in a larger clear trash bag on the porch.
I know fruiting isn't a sterile thing by any measure, but I left an agar dish open outside during the polar vortex colds for a night, then brought it in to grow closed up and it's got more contams then I can point my fingers at and it's still growing. Will the verm and perlite be holding all kinds of bacteria and endospores I should fear?
EDIT: We're talking about rolling PF Tek Cubensis Cakes and sticking em in a SGFC. Forgot to add that.

Bake them both in the oven for an hour at 350F. Vermiculite is an insulator, so if it's in a thick layer, bake longer to ensure the heat has penetrated to the middle. RR
