Why do P. Cubensis sometimes have wavy caps?
    #19501034 - 01/31/14 12:10 PM (10 years, 11 months ago)

Does anyone know why when you leave a cubensis mushroom
to fully ripen and sporulate, why does the cap sometimes
get wavy and look like a Psilocybe Cyanescens?

all these photos are from my Cubensis grows.

They begin to deteriorate rapidly. Those are obviously all left too long.

That makes perfect sense, they are
already falling apart!

Thanks I actually love when they sometimes do that.
I usually pick sooner though.

spore trejectory, it's to let air currents coming from underneathe the cap to carry ejected spores away, theres a write up in my journal called spores that explains it better
