damn blake thats a lot of grain in one run. i can only fit maybe 10 qts total (5qts to each large bag, 2 bags side by side) in one PC run, but still beats the 7 glass qts i'd b able to do in one normal run with jars.
yup. 20 qrts worth of grain in my AA930. Plus a few months back I picked up a AA 925X autoclave used for $150 . So at 1 time I can PC 30 qrts worth of grain

thats a big bag. i use mycosupply for my spawn bags, but i do not add anything other than duct tape after inoculating with LC. i've heard of ppl using rtv on them. dunno how u would use an SFD in conjunction with a filter bag....as far as that link goes i mean

Cutting a square out of a SFD and RTV sealing it on a bag. Just make sure you scruff it up with a metal brush or file so the sealant sticks.

gotcha...but then aren't u basically at the same amt of money it would cost (.65$ cents) to buy a bag? considering supplies, time, energy, and possibility of adherent or filter not working? maybe it just me.... not trying to put u down at all. don't get me wrong.

Nope. Uline does everything in bulk. .25 a bag for 1000/$40 the bulkier you go the cheaper.

You could always use a turkey bag and rubber band the top with some polyfill in the middle... But moving them around is a bitch without messing with the polyfill, and u cant shake it up like you can spawn bags from vendors... So really its up to you.. I do both but I only use turkey bags when I run out and am waiting for my new order... I find it more convenient to just buy them from a vendor..

My idea is pressure cooker safe. Using oven bags is not safe for a pc. they will melt. and don't use polyfil. Water can get through. I usually just put tape over the sfd hole.
