Nobody has to buy it at all. (Unless you have a medical condition and get a script, in which case it's like $20 for a month)

That's very interesting, because being in an environment of extreme poverty really affects an addict, and by eliminating that factor, what would the results be?

The same misery bought about by there drug use, but with enough money to live and buy all the drugs they need with out having to resort to crime to feed there habit ..

Addicts not limited by money definitely have a better life tho, regardless of there habit.

There's millions of drug addicts all across the globe that don't have to live the way you are suggesting. They don't rob, steal of commit crimes to fund there habits. They are all ready rich enough to feed them.

I know a ton of coke addicts that hold down good jobs, run there own business's, have flash cars, nice house's and great life styles, all above board and legit.

This rubbish floating around that all addicts are scum bag homeless scroungers is total BS.

I say meth when you consider the long term cost. Heroin if only the short.

I say crack, cuz where I live its more than twice as expensive as coke. Is coke really more than crack in your areas?

In my area yeah. I mean wasn't crack created as a kind of cheaper alternative to coke?

Anyway I voted coke but it's a tossup between that and crack. Crack doesn't last as long per hit but you gotta do more coke to get the effects you want.

Does this survey take into consideration the expense of things like buying bags of baking soda and hotel rooms from hiding from spouse, going the long way home to avoid the cops and having to get people high for their hookup fee, bribing off the cops and bar owners and that sort of stuff?  I know it's very variable but there are many indirect expenses but the really hardcore addicts would suffer one of these i'd imagine.  I vote STAL because coke and crack regardless because they are a tie

Bags of baking soda?

If you are a serious crack head you would be buying cocaine and turning it into crack yourself. Like Nikki Sixx did in "The Heroin Diaries".

edit: Well a rich crackhead haha

I think Heroin is more expensive than cocaine point for point.

This is true. I'm far from rich, but ive held good jobs with a lot of responsibility while dealing with heavy addictions. I was actually a very hard and did quite well, as some people are very good keeping their shit.

There is also many successful people who have addictions. You really do find it everywhere.

Drug addicts all get portrayed as poor, uneducated, and bad workers. This isnt the truth, it only seems that way because those are the drug users that stand out most. The more responsible addicts who are successful dont get noticed as they dont come across as addicts.

Depends on the location but I voted for crack aince it's so short lived. A bag of crack is gone. A bag o coke is going, a bag of heroin is going and a bag of meth stay long time. Meth users usually crash for a few days after binges and/or once they can't handle sleep deprivation anymore. I'd say that heroin would last long time as well based on the fact that it doesn't take much to get high.

I would have to say cocaine. One line is never enough.
