Monster Mushies tipping the cake O.o (Pics)

The cake that's being tipped is ready to be harvested no doubt. The veil is split, and the shrooms are tipping the cake which I believe could cause pinning on the bottom which would create some trouble. The stem's are combined and well against the cake as you can see, will I have trouble picking them? Do I just pull them away from the cake then twist? And do I pull all 3 at once or one at a time?
Also I got a fat mushroom with a small head, I thought for sure it was an abort, but it keeps growing. Looks like a peyote button kinda lol. Thoughts on this? I'm gonna leave it be.
Also theres a white fuzz on the mushrooms, you can see what I'm talking about on the stem of the big sucker the most clear, is this normal? It's on all of the mushrooms.
Another question is in one of the pics, the one where it's growing against the ground, the veil is peeled back on one side. This one is also tipping the cake but not as much. Should I pick this one? Is it ready to be picked?
My babies are Pink Buffalo's :-)
Thanks in advance,
Lyghtsout

twist and pull you got it. should come off fairly easy without taking a chunk outta your cake. if all 3 are part of a cluster you can try to twist and pull the whole bunch, sometimes they come off in clusters, sometimes they pull off easier individually, just gotta feel it.
White fuzz at the base of the stems is called fuzzy feet and its just a little extra myc from not enough fae. not a big deal but try and get a little more fresh air if possible.
You can pick em anytime around the cap expanding before the veil breaks to when the gills are all flared out. I know some people that prefer them before the cap opens. But seen a lot of people on here that wait till they are completely open. just preference or time availability, potency isn't going to change dramatically or anything.

I harvested for the first time 8-)
One of them had a dark blue stem, also at the root of the stem a little mushie was forming so it's like 2 mushies in one a big one and a small one at the base. Weird. The dark blue is fine right?
I tried cleaning off the vermiculite at the base of the stem with water best I could. A little was left behind that I couldn't get off. It'll still be good to eat right? I imagine eating a little verm won't hurt anybody lol.
Thanks for the heads up, pulling them off wasn't too hard. I kinda had to rip em off but not with excessive force as I see it.

Just brush off the verm next time, mushies soak up water and add to drying time.

For sure, and I think the water made em blue. That's not a problem but having more white mushrooms would of been cool lol.

Bluing is just bruising, not too big of a deal.
I remember the first couple bags of mushrooms I got before I ever started growing; the dealers told me that the blue meant that it was stronger and more potent, same with the little golden flecks(verm), like it meant the mushroom was definitely magic lol. Stupid dealer hype.
I've been using a soft bristled bottle brush to clean the extra dirt off some of my fruits. works better than trying to brush it off with your fingers and water seems like it would make it a little harder to clean IMO. But yeah, the verm isn't bad for you, just a little dirt/mineral/fiber lol.

Thanks for the responses guys, this message board got me through my first grow no doubt.
I dried them to cracker dry and weighed them, 10 grams total O.o. This is just the fully matured primordia off two cakes. Three of the mushrooms are off one cake that combine at 6.5 grams, and one fruit's off another that weighs exactly an 8th. Both these cake's and the other two in the SGFC are still pinning/fruiting like mad. One cake already got 6.5 grams, that double headed beast weighs 5 grams. I'm very happy. I was hoping for a 4 gram yield per cake. I already got some massive fruits coming, ones trippy as fuck the short fat one looks amazing now.
I birthed 3 B+ cakes today and dunked them. They have been sitting a while over two months. One had primordia, one of the three primordia on this cake was clearly rotting the cap was peeled back and there was a black mold under it so I pulled it off. One of the other two primordia looks healthy as can be. The third one looks healthy but the cap is a little bit of a dark orange and looks kinda dried out. My plan is to try fruiting it and see where it goes, if it turns black or doesn't grow I'll pull it. Does this sound like a good plan?
I was a little sketched out birthing these B+ cakes cause they had whimsy growth. I opened and did the smell test, they smelled healthy, exactly like the ones that are fruiting well now. What's odd is the mycelium grew into the vermiculite, I don't believe it was colonized cause the vermiculite was still separate from it - the mycelium just grew in between the cracks of the verm layer. There was also some white fuzz at the very top which I'm assuming is germinated spores. I believe this is the cause of the whimsy growth I saw and thought I'd share.
Thanks again :-)

Oh and another question I have is if a fruit is growing directly into the wall of the SGFC should I leave it be or move the cake? Some are also growing into the ground. Will they just bend or will this stunt their growth?

Another question lol, I'm gonna be placing the B+ cakes in the SGFC a week after the moist perlite was added - will the perlite retain moisture long enough for these cakes to go through their flushes?
