Basically I done some mycobag's at a friends when the heating was on alot and they worked fine. I started 2 more there about 6 months ago. Injected the spores and waited for the mycelia to grow. But my friend stopped putting the heating on alot so it was quite cold so the mycelia didn't grow. So I told them to bin them but he didn't he stuck stuck them in his cabin for some reason and now 6 months later he has just showed me and said I have still got these in my cabin and they are now completely covered with White mycelia inside! I doubt they would still work & its been a cold winter with no heating in the cabin! but I don't know a thing about mycelia. Anyone know if they could work before I bin them??

Spawn it! I've spawned 4 months old grain jars before in small containers and it worked o-k.

If it's covered in all WHITE myc then I'd spawn it. If it smells anything but fresh mushrooms toss it.

I personally don't think it will fruit. cubes are a warm weather species. but worth a try. I would bring the bag into a warm area and check it in a few days. I wouldnt spawn it. just leave in bag for invitro...gl

I beg to differ, I have a strain called mexicube that fruits better at 50 F than in the 70's. RR even posted that he left jars in a cold garage then came back later and to his amazement they were colonized. Go ahead dude and fruit that sucker
