These Jars Done????*PICS*

Well These jars seem to be finished to me but im not positve these are my first jars. So here's some pics, tell me if you guys think they are done. I know the pics arnt that great I still havent figured out how to use my camera. Thanks to those who help I appreciate it.

How long have they been colonized/colonizing for?

the bottom one looks done to me but the top 2 could maybe go a bit longer,give em all a few more days and id say they were good to go.

They were really slow at colonizing but I would say maybe since late july.

Eh but almost two months is pretty slow colonization. What strain? and did you incubate em?

The tops of your jars don't look finished. Also after the surface is colonized give it a few days to make sure that the center is nice and colonized as well.

Also the mycelium will colonize the verm. barrier.

The top is a layer of vermiculite wich will not colonize.
They look ready man, an extra couple days wont hurt, but looks like you are good to go. Good luck!

I always know when my jars are ready when i pop off the top and see mycelium poking through or covering the verm barrier. Its always a happy sight (and the smell... AHHHHH the smell!!) :laugh:
