Used wedges to inoculate. I was told it would not work.
But it has for me.

That looks great! I've always used wedges to inoculate dowels too. It's always worked out well for me.

Thanks dude.
I found some wood that was just cut but I do not know the identity of the tree.
Some of you might be saying to yourself, "Ganzig, are you not a botanist?"
I will say yes I am but,,,,,, I only am familiar with natives.
Got any ideas what this is?

for inoculating dowels do people just squirt with LC on the dowels in a jar and let it grow, use some type of slurry, made with lc, or?

I think sawdust spawn is the best method, but agar wedges or grain spawn work as well. I believe LC is not ideal for dowels, but I've never tried it.

Yeah, I have heard about a lot of problems using LC. Not sure why.
I'm going to try it.
