Flow hood filter question
    #19486476 - 01/28/14 02:28 PM (10 years, 11 months ago)

My buddy can get me hepa filters for free but says they are only 2 inches thick (12x24). Is 2 inches thick enough for laminar flow? he said he could get me 2  and I could put them together, would this be work?

There is a rating for HEPA filters like H13, H14, U15, or something like that.

H14 is your thing. Down from that might not be enough, higher rating is unlikely

ya, the resistance rating on those was .12...so not even close to what I need. However, they should make a nice pre filter!
