So its time for me to dehydrate some mushrooms but at the moment I am dehydarting some bannanas so now the question is can I dehydarate my mushrooms and bannanas at the same time. And will 135 farenhight affect potency?

Potency isn't affected till well after 300F. Get them dry and do it fast. Or eat them.

I've read that the safe zone is 100F and below. Hopefully someone more knowledgable chimes in. 300 sounds a bit high?

It's fine. My dehydrator hits 180 and there is no noticeable difference in potency compared to using desiccant. Throw them in with the bananas. Who knows, they might take on some extra flavors...

People also make TEA wiff dey boomers, and their faces melt off, so I'm sure it's safe to say potency and dehydrating is NOT an issue.

Yes but that's not from boiling the mushrooms IN tea. That could possibly affect the potency. I always boil the tea and then seep the mushrooms in it.

Never made a tea tek. I hate tea, i leave that to the Limey's. I'm a lemon tek guy, only heat involved from start to finish is the dehydrating part. But people cook them all the time. I think the big killer is oxygen breaking down the actives.

Depends on the unit. The instructions to mine says to leave at least 4 trays in even if the trays are empty.

My nesco dehydrator has multiple trays and I usually put my fruits in the center rack with 2 empty ones stacked on top of it and 2 stacked beneath it. Set it to 125F and in around 7 hours they are cracker dry
