Up early to start my liquid culture!

Decided to get up nice and early this morning so I have plenty of time to get my liquid culture going before I start construction on my first monotub. I'm using 375 ml of water to 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of honey. The mixture is pressure cooking as we speak. One the LC takes off in a week or so, I'll be using that to get my pop corn going, of which I'm going to spawn into a nice straw, manure, Verm substrate. I'm still really new to cultivation so any feedback is helpful. I'll post the pics of my LC as it progresses.

I would think twice about innoculating that liquid culture with a spore syringe, those are rarely clean and you might be injecting some contaminates without knowing it.
Case in point, make sure you test a jar before you inoculate a truck load. But that doesn't help much, since those baddies may lay dormant until you spawn.
Sorry, I know it's not what you want to hear, but LC's have a bad rep for contaminates.
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I have more spores on the way and some of my brf cakes are about to got in my FC. With that information i probably won't use my LC to start my popcorn but I'm still going to do it just as a test run for the LC! Would I be better off just using the syringe I have now to get my popcorn going instead of doing the LC with it

It would be just as fast/faster just to innoc some grain jars or brf cakes and make myc water once fully colonized. Plus g2g once the grains recover.
In the time it takes for the spores to germ in a hit or miss lc and THEN innoc jars and hope for the best, you could have had a grain jar already partially colonized.
There really is no benefit to lc in my opinion unless you have an isolate or just want to kill time..
do some agar work.

I'm researching agar now! Ill definitely follow everyone's advice here and go ahead and just save my syringe for the grain. I really want to make sure that I have once my cakes are birthed and used up that I have something else going in my chamber shortly after. Thanks everyone!
