Awesome. I will look into these. I might have to get another syringe because if my batch in contaminated I don't want to use them, but i also don't have the money for another syringe at the moment. :/ But I will try to be more sterile in my next batch that I do.

I use gauze pads and cut them up in four. (they unfold) Then I put them on the disc with the holes and screw my lid over top it all... Works awesome.. I have issues with tape and polyfill... I don't know why it works fine I just have issues with any kind of sticky shit and sticking it honestly! lol

No I didn't know that I was suppose to use a filter. I didn't find this sites material until after I started my project.

Sorry I ment use my grains that I have now. I have a syringe that I got in December but won't be able to do another batch for another 2 weeks and don't know if the spores will still be good. They have been stored in a room that doesn't get very warm. So I figured that they wouldn't be any good by now.

Now say that I go to fruit them. I don't smell any really sweet or bad smells and I fruit some. Is there anything that I should look for in my fruits before I try them out to make sure that I am not going to hurt myself? I know that some will have black spots on the tops right? but aborts will also have a black line from the base to the tip correct?
