One more quick question, about how much (estimate) could i expect to be yielded from 6 1/2 pint BRF cakes of B+ from the dunk and roll method if done correctly? (dry grams)

Hard to say with genetics and different environmental factors, especially if this is your first time or your still learning. I'm sure someone could give you an estimate, but better not to get your hopes up. Best case scenario you might get like a half-oh, depending on if you can flush your cakes several times. but you might end up with only a few grams if you can't get conditions right.

oh no I'm using either 6 or 8 (whichever i have room for) i only said 2 cakes because i wanted to know if that would be enough for the mycelium to successfully grow in a larger container

Oh thats fine then. Still keep in mind keeping the FC somewhat proportional to the cakes.

Spawning cakes is a little different than spawning regular bulk. I have used one cake to straight coir at about 1:1 ratio and it did fine. When your spawning its more about the ratio of spawn to substrate. So if you were spawning 2 cakes, you would probably not want to use much more than 1 pint of coir/verm, just to keep your ratio at about 1:1, which will keep colonization times fast and prevent contamination.

Well how much harder would growing grain in bulk actually be? For a first timer is it a significant challenge?

Why are you worried about how much your going to get? And this question has been asked 100's of times before you. It seems like you were to lazy to even look around. If your trying to get the most out of your shit then Read, Read, Read, Learn, then administer and repeat. There are no shortcuts in this hobby(for some reason nubes want to grow the most their 1st time.) Most likely you'll only get 2-8 grams dried of each cake, 8 is very optimistic. So just chill and have patience. GL

"Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”

Take a look at using popcorn to make the transition into bulk. That's what I'm doing now and it's making for a really easy transition.
