Should I pick this weird fruit?
    #19485552 - 01/28/14 10:35 AM (10 years, 11 months ago)

This fruit is only about 5cm tall. And the veil has torn :frown:
Should I pick it now?
Why is it so small? Why are all my fruits so small?

Might be genetics

:whathesaid:Genetics are most likely the culprit.

You can pick it now.  Or let it open more if you want a spore print.

Pick em, enjoy em. A gram of small fruits is likely to pack a way bigger punch that a single 1g fruit anyway.

Work yourself into agar, cloning and strain isolation to have more control over what you get.

The tub is 1.5 quart of spawn to 6 quarts of bulk substrate.
The tub itself is 26q in size.
The lid has 6 LED's connected on timer.
There are 6 0.5" holes.
And I fan and mist 6 times daily.

Should I pick all of them or just the ones with torn veils?

I personally just pluck them as their veils tear. It's all personal preference though.

Do you cut them or twist and pull?

I cut them. I always use my scalpel.
