Yellowing on my Myc

I was checking my mini mono tub today and found that there was yellowing in spots on the top of my myc.
Ive been having problems with too much condensation dripping on it and fear I may have messed this one up completely.
What do you experts reccon and what should I do to avoid this.
It was colonising in the airing cupboard, made from a LC.

During colonization water drops are fine. Some people (myself included) dab at the pools when switching to fruiting. I just realized you're fruiting give it more FAE.
The yellow is probably metabolites. They are the result of contamination or stressed out mycelium. Just follow your tek and keep an eye on it.
Are you only misting when the previous mist is dried up. I know this sounds stupid but have you been wiping it off and maybe fanning more?
I'm not really sure what else to tell you. Someone more experienced should chime in soon.

I always though u needed some sort of gas exchange (not FAE).
Or do you leave a tub with no GE at all?

Polyfill isn't air tight. It allows gas to flow through it, even when packed in pretty tight. It does hold humidity in and keeps drafts down, however. Stuff the bottom holes with a good chunk of poly, and the top a bit more loosely.

So im a bit confused. I thought when colonising you needed gas exchange?
Now I put it into fruiting it has poly fill in the 4 bottom holes and 2 in the top. I know they are weird positions but i drilled the holes then mixed the sub and the spawn, then realised......doh

When colonizing you should tape up the holes. There is plenty GE for that phase getting through the imperfect seal of the lid. If you use polyfill, you'd want it SUPER tight to really restrict the air. I don't get why anyone would bother with poly for colonizing. It's just more work. Duct tape. Bam, done

People use it for GE on jars but the hole on a grain jar is much smaller than a hole on a mono, thus it is much easier to put a tight fitting wad of poly in it to restrict FAE but still provide GE.

That's what I was trying to get at with my last statement. Poly plus mono means fae. Poly and jars is ge.

yeah sub has issues. Put it outside to finish, you may have some success grabbing a few boomers off it. But you really don't want it in the house.
