I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep a eye on it, make sure they all go away.

There are two ways to get flies. First one, the flies got inside the growing area. Try to see where the hole is and cover it or else the flies can lay some eggs. Second one, bad sterilization, the eggs are in the substrate and are not destroyed, later they develop into worms and then flies. This situation is more harmful than the first one and can bring more infection problems. The big problem about this issue are the worms that eat the mycelium and spread their waist through the surface and on the inside. This normally happens with dung based substrates where the material is exposed to many insects but that doesn't mean it can happen to other substrates. Make your terrarium air tight, if you keep getting flies, toss the whole thing. MAIA

'Try to see where the hole is and cover it or else the flies can lay some eggs.' I didn't understand which hole ?a hole in the terrarium or kit or where? I think it can be dung based substrate sourced,I sterilized it one hour in the pc but not pastorized, however, it has a good yield, anyway, what's wrong?I know pastorization is better but I've got always the feeling it's too much effort ,but,but,but,.....thank you.
