I'd say all my containers are at 10% (excluding the small one it's at 20%)
I think that's only because the small one was the last G2G I did. I was being stingy to make sure I had enough spawn.
The last container probably got a bit more spawn than the rest.

i really wanna try supplementing one of my rye jars with the bob's 10 grain hot cereal i have, like u did.  with cubes i feel like the difference would be seen once it was spawned to bulk, and then u wouldn't need to add supplements like coffee to the pasteurization process.
now that i have more edible culture to work with, i was already thinking of using it in those, instead of plain rice/wheat/etc bran.  but I'm so new to edibles i won't b a able to tell the difference.
glad its working out for you man!
its weird to see WBS in PP5's.  i usually just see whole grain BR or rye.

Ya I got jasmine rice I guess I could use that never thought about it.
I think I have to many GE holes on my glad mini rounds going to get rid of most of those. Thankfully the bob's mighty tasty hot cereal holds moisture, and the myc is loving it. However I'm sure it's going to take a great deal longer to fully colonize. I'm sure it will encase the outer easier to reach layer and work its way in. so if time is of the essence probably should opt for larger grains and such.

So after browsing some of Franks the how I get shit done section, I had a thought. He hydrates his grains briefly before he spawns to bulk. What if you do a similar process by Re-hydrating grains Via GLC, then doing a G2G? I'm not really to concerned with making GLC's, I'm more for the G2G aspect of this. I intend on letting them recover a few days before G2G seeing as there's left over water from the GLC, should give it some time to soak it up.

So sorry of this is rambling on :jah:
Any thoughts ?

IMO it would be an unnecessary vector for contams. The reason for hydrating before spawning is to speed up the spawn run and add extra water to the sub for fruiting. Extra water is not really going to help invitro colonization much and excess may slow things. Your receiving jars are already at capacity (or at least they should be) and if you are having speed issues with your G2G then increase the amount of inoculate. GLC is pretty risky to start with, why potentialy contam already clean growth. You can shake cubes if you want to speed them up. Take advantage of that.

:mygoditsfullofstars:

Now these are some of the original containers I started. They have been going for a while now. I shook them all around 30% colonization. The container I did my last G2g with was the one that finished first and that was some time ago.  I feel like these last two are going slow. It's probably my ambient temps down here that are effecting them. It hovers around the lower 60's lately, Its been cold as shit here the past few weeks. Now I'm not really concerned about the slow colonization times but these last two containers had just begun to reach there 100%.    I can tell when popcorn's getting dry it kind-a shrivels and turns a dark translucent gold-ish color. I wasn't going for the GLC      part of it but to add more moisture after I shook the corn again, since its advised you only shake once. They are looking good
I felt bad figured id at least give em'  A DRINK :hmm:

I appreciate you looking out for a brother though!    :nodofunderstanding:

Getting some WBS soaking here in a few hours. I fear I used to little spawn, and It looks overly moist in there.
Not that I wont let them try and do there thing. When I G2G I just plan on doing three quart containers per master container. Does that sound good or should I do one pint and two 1 quart containers?

u'd have to fill the receivers pretty light if u just wanna do three receiver quarts for every master quart.  i think the standard is 6 receivers per 1 master quart.  u can do more even (i would), just pour less out for each jar.  u can do less (like u mention) and it will be a lot faster (more colonized grain going into uncolonized jar), but be careful how much grain is in receiving jar, just leave enough room to shake after g2g is done.  i would do 1 pint and 3-4 quarts.  but I'm cheap (spread my money out more, rye is expensive, but u r using WBS) and like to get SAB sessions over with and done.  so as many receivers as i can get while still having speedy colonization is what its all about, but thats just me.  plus a master pint jar is easier/faster to hold, twist, pour grains with than a quart than a master quart jar, but i also have a small SAB that cannot fit 2 quart jars on top of one another (urs may be able to without problem).
u wil be fine either way man!  ur a smart guy who knows his stuff!  (i over think a lot too, to my own dismay....)
