Leaving for 2 weeks and my jars are done, need some advice.

So I have some jars that are just about done. I'm leaving in a week for 2 weeks and I'm not sure what I should do with the jars.

I have a few options the way I see it...
1) Refrigerate jars for the 2 weeks I'm gone
2) Case and refrigerate casings for the 2 weeks I'm gone (covered and sealed up).
3) Case and ask myco-novice friend to fan and fruit a week after I leave.

I'd prefer 1 or 2 but I really don't know if refrigerating is the best option. Thoughts?

You did not mention whether these are cakes or grains, but you seem to know the correct answer regardless. Simply refrigerate while you are absent, then take them out when you return and give them two days or so back at room temperature before spawning to bulk or dunking if they are cakes, you will be fine:thumbup:

Thanks everyone. They are grain jars. I'll probably leave most in jars but I might try the bucket-tek w/ coir on some jars. The tek says once jars are mixed with coir it's about 10 days, I'll go 14 and hope for the best.

Thanks again!

If the jars are done then spawn em now and come home to full colonization. I never liked leaving jars in the fridge

refrigeration should be fine. I spawned a few jars of WBS that sat in the fridge for 2-3 months and it worked out great

Not saying he can't do it but wouldn't it be better to come home to full colonization  I like to spawn when I get 100% or shortly after.
