yea that would suck.  what about those portable, butane stove tops? u just need to buy the little canisters of butane occasionally.  its like a portable gas stove, we used them for catering at my previous job, they are cheap!

i wouldnt want to use that inside but i found an electric stove range that's 1300 watt. Once i get some more cash i'll buy an AA and the portable stove. Also just harvested my 2nd flush

60 grams wet from 3 cakes

It doesent leave a smell or carbon monoxide? I figured since it's a gas it wouldnt be good to use inside.

  we used it inside a small ass cafe at a corporate office building everyday (2 of them at once) at the cafe i worked at (it also did catering on the side, mom and pop kinda business) making soups (they take a long time with burner on) and other hot items.  the flame burns the butane right away, no smell.  maybe there is some soot, but no more than a candle, and i'd venture to guess even less.  only thing is u gotta buy butane refills.  asian super markets have them cheap if i recall.

ur decision though.  thats cheaper than an electric though right?  i haven't looked up electric portables, so i dunno.

no prob!  I'm pretty obsessive with this hobby, so anyway i can save money is good, because i know next paycheck will take another hit as well (petris, agar, slants, coir, tubs, jars, lids, filters, grains, casing soils, SOMETHING).  anyway to save money (and it WORKS) i like.
