The ultimate species to cultivate?
    #19474945 - 01/26/14 01:17 AM (10 years, 11 months ago)

So what is the ultimate species to cultivate indoors?  What species of importance have yet to be cultivated?

My top two are P. semilanceata and P.  azurescens. I'm working toward these now.

--------------------
I need tropical cultures, ABM, V.v....!!!!

Well things don't always look as they are and things can be misread and mistaken for what they realy are so don't read too much into what I say since I might be mistaken myself. And remember I rarely ever give a definate answer.

i would have to agree, and am doing the same(not gonna bother trying to fruit the azzies though), but there's so many good ones out there it's impossible to say, baeo's,stuntzii, gym's, and tons of psilocybes in general

Captain future already has. He has cracked just about every species imaginable. I'm trying to follow in his footsteps. He has not done azures indoors that I know of yet.

I'm working on conocybe cyanopus, libs, azzys, allenii at the moment and a few less exotic one as well. But the libs and azzies are my main goal right now.

Amanita Muscaria has never been cultivated indoors. You got a pine tree in your living room?

Have you considered mixing field soil in the grass seeds for colonization?  Perhaps pasteurizing top soil from grassy area for casing layer?
It seems to me like liberty caps wouldn't be prone to fruit with straight-grain and the likes of peat/verm or coir/verm or even potting soil per se.

The caps not really into the wood lovers. His true love is grass lovers and his best lib grow was with my spores from BC . They were a flat capped variety , they were sweet!! We all thought they were something other then semis but A Roc did the microscopy. They turned outgo be a great lib strain for indoor though. His epic C cyanopus was from me as well so it's cool to see my genetics make it around the world some more!! :congrats:

I'm trying P psuedoaztecorum, I have a 99 % done mono tub so I'm hoping for pins this month!!
And I have P auklandiae on grain and P aztecorum on agar. Those are my goals for this year.

thats what i'm trying right now, that way i don't have to break them up after colonizing

Psylosymonreturns,

Well then thank you for providing the world with spores via the Captain. I hope to continue the chain. I already sent out a bunch of P. zapotecorum, and P. caerulescens.

P. aztecorum!!! Your a lucky man!  I would love to have spores,  I have asked all around for them!!!

The pseudoaz is not that hard you just need to keep it cool(~68). They flush forever.  I had trouble getting good prints for some reason though.
