I have some halfway dried shrooms that smell like old feet. It's disgusting. Is this how shrooms are supposed to smell? I picked them right out of the mycobag and put them on a plate in front of a fan for an hour and now they're in the fridge in a tupperware in a dessicant chamber (epsom salt method).
There was also a very very tiny red bug on one of my shrooms. I don't see how that's possible since it was sealed in a mycobag, and then directly in front of a fan.
Thanks for the advice. I thought I had mold or something.
Well I got 76 wet grams off of just 2 cakes, but it was all mostly 3 monster shrooms and a bunch of small aborts (or, shrooms that were about to keep growing, but I had to take them out of the bag.
As of right now, they've been sitting on perlite for about a day and a half, and every hour my pins are getting bigger and bigger. This is only off of the same 2 cakes that had shrooms. The other two aren't doing shit.
In about a week or so I'll report back with the weight of my first flush.
By the way, this is LaviathanX, just started a different name. I made a few posts with pics of my mycobags in the Mushroom Cultivation section.
