All this deep thinking is for ugly people.

Dunno, just my theory. Most attractive people I know are stupid, or they used to be unattractive than lost a lot of weight, etc.

Deep thinking is for those who don't live their lives vicariously through a facade.

most people period are stupid. I mean, statistically, we cant all be einstein. the ratio in attractive people is probably not much different.
although one could use the arguement that an attractive person goes through less stress and hard times in their life than an ugly person, and therefore develops less character as a result of having fewer challenges in life.
but sooner or later, everyone encounters problems they have to overcome and attractive people are no different.
try checking on those "attractive people" 20 or 30 years from now when theyve gotten fat and their hair has fallen out. see who they are then.
humans all have different class schedules but eventually we all learn the same lessons.

I've met a hell of a lot of stupid ugly people.
I've also met a lot of smart attractive people.

this theory was made quickly, i can tell . right?
I might agree that attractive people have a higher tendency to be more distracted in life and thusly have'nt thought things out as much. but even then, i wouldnt let that get ahead of me. you always gotta see where each individual may be different from the norm.

Hey just a thought on all this....
If the attractive/stupid get more sex (what anthropologists call succsessful couplings:o) than after millions of years of human evolution wouldn't they have become the dominant variety of human on this planet?
It would seem that PHYSICAL attractiveness is NOT the determining factor in breeding.
Im smart and sexified ask anybody!

"survival of the sexiest"
well-known theory
natural examples: the peacock
the peacock uses its tail faithers to attract mates. the biger and brighter the feathers, the more lovin he gets, and the more of his genes are passed to the next generation. Eventually, the peacock evolved this ridiculously huge tail, but that has been kept in check by the tendency of large cats to attack bright pretty birds (survival of the fittest)

Yeah child bearing hips and big life giving bossoms...
but people aint peacocks we look for more than who can run fastest and kill the most food for our babies.
In our society smartness is considered a desireable breeding trait, just like the peacock tail.
that was my point

Human "sexiness" isn't ever going to take over the planet because the traits that determine your body build, face, overall figure are all taken from several genes(many single traits such as the eye for example have several genes that coordinate to its color, size, etc.) and theres always mutations so "being hot" will never become the most common characteristic on the planet as paired matings in humans dont produce this "uberly hot" person all the time.

Darwinism doesn't work for humans the same way it works for other animals. Our social interactions are so complex that one single 'type' of person is not becoming dominant over others. I mean, you can be stupid and still inherit tons of wealth and political power and kill lots of other people who may or may not be stupid. We've reached somewhat of an equilibrium evolution-wise.

that may be an broad generalization. i think attractive people can get by a lot of life with out being smart. it's how society is set up, at least in the US
