Champ Bailey is going to get BURNED by Percy Harvin all day. Broncos sorry defense is going to be in for a long day, mark my words. The only high octane offense next Sunday is going to be the Seahawks.

GO BRONCOS!!!

He deserves it.

Champ ain't no Richard Sherman, that's for damn sure. Marshawn Lynch is going to go beast mode, burning up the clock and keeping Manning off the field. Then when Denver is expecting run, play action over the top to Harvin. Touchdoooown Seahawks! :dancer:

Manning better get his neck brace ready, because he is going to take some big hits. Might want to put his surgeon on speed dial too

I gotta go with the Broncos here. My reasoning, their defense looked amazing against the Patriots (coming off a huge offensive game vs Indy), then you throw in Manning that's a fuckin' tough game for anyone let alone a very young team that, eh, I'd say in some games offensively wasn't as solid. Though I don't see many Seahawks games on the East coast.

But if I was putting money down, the odds favor the Broncos imo.

I think Manning wins it and shuts the critics up. I know last week I posted he'd be watching the Superbowl at home, but I actually did switch my pick to Denver after that

I honestly can't decide. Maybe just the slightest bit leaning toward Seattle in a physical cold weather game. But then again, Denver is totally high-octane. Great match-up. Hats off to the NFL.

The weakest of the 4 main units on the field next Sunday is the Seahawks' offense.  I don't get to see either of them enough to have an opinion on their special teams.

Seattle special teams is great, one of the best in the league. Their punting unit gave up around 50 yards combined, all season. Punt return, Golden Tate has been making people miss and getting good returns regularly. Then on Kick return, Harvin will be back there returning, so expect some magic :yesnod:

Seattle puts starters on all special teams units, most teams don't for some reason. I'm guessing to avoid injury?

Denver is a one trick pony, that will get shutdown.

Here is the league rankings for offense, defense, and special teams.

Offense-  Denver: 1  Seattle: 9

Defense-  Denver: 27  Seattle: 1

Special Teams-  Denver: 21  Seattle: 5

Peyton is a sitting duck in the pocket. He isn't mobile, and with the Hawks fierce pass rush and cover corners I expect him to get hit, a lot. I said it once, I'll say it again.. Get that neck brace ready.

no way seattle is 9th in offense.

where are you reading that? i got them at 17th. i also have broncos at 19th in D.

NFl.com has the seahawks at 27th in Kick Returns, and the broncos at 6th.
for punt return yards the seahawks are in 31st place, broncos in 19th.

as for kick returns, the broncos are 1st in the league for kicking touchbacks, and seattle is 9th.

not sure where you got your numbers from, but i doubt that seattle's special teams are considerably better than a team that has trindon Holliday on it.

I think all it will take for the broncos to win, is to score a TD on their opening drive.

If they do that, those young kids will get flustered and start making stupid mistakes on top of stupid mistakes (like personal fouls after the whistle). Hasn't really been a secondary out there that can account for the law offices of Thomas, Thomas, Decker and Welker.

You really can't compare the banged up saints to a fully healthy broncos. Saints without their #1RB, a rookie left OT, 1 true Cb on the roster and DROTY(in my book) Vacarro out and they still made it a close game. Moreno is looking stout and Ball has started to get a decent feel.

There are only 2 ways i see seattle winning this game.

1) Denver has more than 3 turnovers.
or
2) the refs let defensive holding slide.

I am going to assume that since you had nothing to say about Denver special teams you know nothing about them.  How is the field goal kicker?

Your right, being that they are in the AFC I have watched very few Denver games. I only see the highlights. As for where I got my numbers, I copied them from a post on NFL.com. Upon investigation, it looks like Seattle offense was 9th in points per game, different than actual offensive rank. I should have known to not believe everything I read on the internet

It's going to be below freezing. Manning is throwing frozen ducks and in past situations that took away a lot of his efficiency. If it was in a dome, I would favor Denver by 7. Outside, in New Jersey, I'll take Seattle by 3. Seattle held frank gore to 14 yards on 11 carries, I'm not too worried about Moreno.

I think it's important to mention Manning is 11-12 in the playoffs. He hasn't necessarily shown up for the big games, and especially in cold weather.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, pure and simple. You're typing up all of this drivel based on a post you erroneously read, admitted to it, admitted to basically knowing nothing about the Broncos, and are still making asinine proclamations. Time for your mommy to take you back to your crib.
