Home Alone: BRF gets the bucket?

So I've been following the PF Tek for my first grow and now have four cakes consolidating for the next week. I've got a big SGFC built and it looks very pretty.
The thing is, due to my job, I'm away for 24hrs every second or third day. I do have a flatmate but can't guarantee they'll always be around to take over mist/fan duties.
Should I birth/dunk/roll and stick them in the SGFC and just try and mist/fan as much as I can or should I crumble those bad boys up, get some coco coir and make myself a mini-mono or Otto-style bucket?
Thanks team!

If you have a proper SGFC you should be ok. Just mist well before you leave and.when you get back.

You can always fruit some as cakes and spawn the others to coir although might have to use a pretty low spawn to sub ratio depending on the size of your mini-mono. Eventually I'd just move on to grain for bulk though.

No wrong answers. Either one would do. Like he said a heavily misted SGFC wouldn't be the end of the world to leave for 24 hours once in a while. If you're ready to go to bulk, that's always a good option as well.

Thanks for the answers guys. PF Tek seems to be the way to start but def seems limited so already got my grain jars colonizing and looking forward to bulk.
Going on your answers I think ill fruit the cakes as normal in the SGFC so as to see the process through to its end, if I don't get an abundance of huge fruits it's really not the end of the world. If they seem to be really suffering I'll try knocking up an auto-mister out of an old air freshener.

The SGFC was built for situations like this.
However, growing with roommates is very dangerous, and you shouldn't do it. A LOT of people get arrested because the cops come due to something their roommates did and the place gets searched. Not to mention that roommates might find it and call the cops themselves. Some roommates open the door for cops, and even give cops permission to search. They could let the landlord look around, or their family or friends might go snooping and before you know it you're under arrest. And if you tell your roommates or if they somehow find out (or if their friends or family do), then you're breaking rules #1 and #2. Loose lips sink ships.
Growing with roommates is a bad idea.

How about an elaborate misting system dependent on two robbers named Harry and Marv stumbling into cleverly placed traps and tripwires. Do you have a kid you can leave in the house?
...I'll see myself out now.
