Until they undercut every other retailer based on their poverty wages, self-checkouts, and massive supply chain that small businesses can't compete with.
But, I wouldn't expect simple economics to make sense to you. That would make too much common sense. Obviously something that you have a deficiency in.

Why don't you focus on my main argument instead of the petty insults? Is that because you know that WMT is destroying the American economy from the inside-out? You're going to whine about the "insults" yet not address the main issue?
Typical GOPer. No cheese, only whine.

First of all i'm not associated with the GOP in anyway. People who do not agree with the liberals are not automatically a member of the GOP.
Walmart should be punished because they have a decent supply chain? And one of the reasons they are able to undercut business's so much is because they get special privileges from the local governments.

even if this statement was true it still doesn't mean walmart can force you at the point of a gun to shop there.

Of course, nobody can point a gun at your head and say "shop here or die." But they can say "Shop here, or drive twenty miles to your nearest retailer, where you will be paying more for your products."
Same difference.

They get special privileges from every level of government. Which your fantasy-land ideals have no problem with. With an average Walmart costing taxpayers $500k/yr, there obviously isn't any incentive for Walmart to change their policies.
I think the most rational solution is to cut benefits for all those workers, so Walmart can pay them poverty wages, and they still can't afford food!
Oh wait, I'm sure if you didn't tie benefits to full time employment, Walmart would pay their employees more, right?
RIGHT?
If I were on twitter I would put "#ignorance" and quote your entire post.

you're making things up about me again. I'd appreciate if you stopped. Or actually took the time to learn what my actual ideals are, because its clear you have absolutely no idea. I think business getting any privilege from any level of government is completely wrong and should be avoided at all costs.

yep i am a free market guy. Proud of it too. What you fail to realize is that market regulation hurts small business and encourages big business monopoly. Raising the min. wage would actually help walmart. They can absorb the costs easily while small mom and pop shops cannot, thus putting them out of business, leaving, you guessed it, walmart as the only remaining business.

They can absorb the costs so well that they campaign for lower minimum wage on every front.

You claimed walmart was against the min wage increase. I gave evidence that they support, and have supported the increase in it.
