I paid $65 for about 20 min but I had a cold and was all stuffy so I don't think I really felt it. I kept telling the assistant to turn it up.
They said even if I want nitrous for a cleaning, they'd do it. They gave me the little nose piece that is single use, told me to keep it and bring it back in the future.
Its in a drawer somewhere.
IDK though, I think since I felt comfortable there/w him that maybe I wont need any kind of sedation, just the numbing agent.
We will see.

Cool read:
Quote:
Our modern stereotype is that – until recently – people were plagued with rotting teeth, cavities and gum disease. But the truth is that prehistoric people had much better oral health than we do today. As NPR reports: Prehistoric humans didn’t have toothbrushes. They didn’t have floss or toothpaste, and they certainly didn’t have Listerine. Yet somehow, their mouths were a lot healthier than ours are today. “Hunter-gatherers had really good teeth,” says Alan Cooper, director of the Australian Centre for Ancient DNA. “[But] as soon as you get to farming populations, you see this massive change. Huge amounts of gum disease. And cavities start cropping up.” And thousands of years later, we’re still waging, and often losing, our war against oral disease. Our changing diets are largely to blame. In a study published in the latest Nature Genetics, Cooper and his research team looked at calcified plaque on ancient teeth from 34 prehistoric human skeletons. What they found was that as our diets changed over time — shifting from meat, vegetables and nuts to carbohydrates and sugar — so too did the composition of bacteria in our mouths. *** However, the researchers found that as prehistoric humans transitioned from hunting and gathering to farming, certain types of disease-causing bacteria that were particularly efficient at using carbohydrates started to win out over other types of “friendly” bacteria in human mouths. The addition of processed flour and sugar during the Industrial Revolution only made matters worse.
If you want good teeth; a dentist, brushing, and flossing, can only bandaid the problem, it's about the diet. Daddyz, congratulations. I wish I could sufficiently articulate just how good you will feel when you make the change and stick with it, not only physically, but mentally. Also throw in some meditation.
Basically just avoid breads/pastas/glutens and anything processed, eat plants of all sorts, get a blender, make your own shakes, take them for lunch when working or schooling. Kale is an amazing plant to add to your diet too, I like to mix kale with banana, sounds weird but banana really masks bad tastes well. Blueberries also mask bad tasting but super healthy plants taste.
Best of luck my friend.

Also, counterintuitively, flouride can easily cause your teeth to rot when used too much. (if you drink it in your tap water, then use more in your toothpaste, you're probably OD'ing on flouride) It also makes your bones have problems due to it being taken systemically in drinking water.
Fluoride can cause diseases like flouridosis, which makes your mouth rot. As well as the more common knowledge on flouride, calcifying your brains central pineal gland, decreasing IQ(especially in children), and changing behavior.
