Liquid Culture help

I managed to get a multispore syringe of amazonians to colonize a pint LC jar about 10 days ago. A few days later I sterilized and inoculated several jars with the original LC. I used the same recipe, half a tablespoon of light malt extract to 300 ml of water. It has been just about a week and I haven seen very little growth from my jars. How long should I wait before it can be said the jars won't show growth?

I've only ever used a piece of fruit for LC, and that was one time. You could physically see the mycelium grow off the piece. Don't know about MS knock up though...

I've heard that a LC made from an other LC should show quicker grow than when you inoculate from Multispore ( The spore doesn't have to germinate ). Are you sure you got The right temp not to warm of to cold?

this is the 'master' LC that I used to inoculate the rest. I used the same ratio and same storage spot that it used. What could have happened?

Maybe bacteria. It looks a little cloudy.
This is the problem with LC. It's not reliable.

what more can we say?
You started an LC from spores which is the worst possible idea other than starting an LC from clone tissue which is just as bad
If you're hell bent on making a LC make the LC with an agar wedge so you can be sure it's clean.
Chances are it's bacterial and stalled out since after a week you should have seen growth if you started with LC. Next time just do spores right to the jars to save yourself the time of waiting for the LC to colonize you'll go from spore to harvest quicker and eliminate a intermediate step that is prone to contamination.
All sorts of people succeed with LC all the time using spores and tissue samples but it's like playing roulette. I wouldn't bother taking my chances with slow shitty methods.
