Yeah if you like being poked in the dick by metal every time you go balls deep.
She always bleeds after every orgasm even with out penetration . And even if I dont go balls deep and she doesn't finish still bleeds.
It sorta fucked our sex life to the point im willing to pay for it to come out and get snipped

Name them?
Gaining weight is no side effect. It's an effect that occurs when eating more than needed.
Some of the unlisted, but user-reported side effects are total loss of sex drive, chronic yeast infections, weight gain and bloating, and of course the most severe ones are breast cancer and stroke.

@IUD: Reported as horrible from my sister. You can feel them and there should be the same concerns as with the pill, hormonal contraceptziva - all the same.
@CG: You can't really count them first 5 ones because only insane people would continue taking them when noticing that. But I actually had my sister, too, report a total loss of sex drive. Unfortunately the last two possible consequences are really scary. This is what I meant by there are no long term effects known. The young women of today are the first generation who might take those meds half a lifetime.
We'll see. Just like we'll see what cellphones in pockets will do to genitalia and what microwaves do to our food.

Yea, there is no way I'm getting an IUD until after I have my first child. I'm not risking having my uterus rupture and never being able to have kids again.
All doctors say that the products in their industry have no side-effects. Plastic surgeons say it all the time, so do egg donor agencies... you really have to read about people's personal experiences from their own words, to be able to gauge what sort of reactions there are that doctors don't tell you about.
Birth control for me made me totally lose my sex drive, gave me chronic yeast infections (literally it was so bad, I would take the yeast infection medication and it would come back literally the next day), and I also started developing pain during intercourse (a side effect not just reported by me).
Also, the texture of my juices changed a lot. Normally I am pretty fluid like water, and it smells and tastes very good (imo and according to others). But on the BC pills, my texture because thicker and more like sour cream, and it tasted sour all the time, and tasted like shit.
Birth control's severe long-term side-effects are actually known. For starters, estrogen has been linked to increased breast cancer rates. It also causes clogging of the arteries, which causes stroke in the long-run.

hormonal BC is scary as fuck. I mean thank god my girl is on it, i can't stand condoms and love cumming inside her. But hopefully the male BC shot will be available in the U.S soon. Hormone free birth control for the win!

I've never met a girl that had tried hormonal BC and had good things to say about it.
As for the OP's gf, she's not pregnant. Chill out dudes.

my girl friend loved it once she got on the right pill. Without it her periods are crazy intense and irregular. Thats actually the reason she started taking it in the first place, before she was even sexually active.

I can see why they would be beneficial when you are younger, cause young girls when they just start to hit puberty get crazy intense and irregular periods.
I remember when I just got my period at 13, I would literally get periods that hit SO HARD, I would go through a super absorbent tampon or pad (the super thickest kind for your heaviest flow day), in literally 2 hours. Normally they are supposed to last 8 hours on a normal woman's heaviest day. That is insane amount of blood, I must have been literally flushing out a gallon a week at that age.
However, I personally am not all that convinced having a 28 day menstrual cycle is better for you. For example, women who menstruate more often are more likely to develop ovarian cancer and cysts. And menstruation is inherently linked to how much fluid you intake and how much food you eat. This is why Asian women, whose caloric intake is significantly less, menstruate much less frequently, and also have a lower incidence of developing ovarian cancer.
It's good to know, considering how many years total I have gone without a period either because of steroids of drug use, it's nice to know one of things I'll probably NEVER develop is ovarian cancer.

she tried stopping later on but would end up getting her period for 2 weeks every two weeks. It was awful.

The level of doucheness and irrelevance in the comments here blows my mind. Well not really but... WTF happened to this site?
