You're close but incorrect. Please review the guess and you'll see there's more to it.

Ericoid mycorrhizal fungi have a symbiotic relationship with the roots of plants from the order Ericales.
Ericoid mycorrhizal fungi are considered crucial for the success of the family Ericaceae.

LOL thank you. that really should have been self evident
i was seeing phosphorus and nitrogen and going WTF do those numbers have to do with those.
oh my.
really cool shot of the hydrogen atom. I usually scan the science news at least weekly but didn't see that when it came out. crazy to get a picture of something that small. for the record, i struggle with math & i got a D in quantum but in my defense had a really shitty prof who would fill a chalkboard (yes, that long ago) with equations nobody was really following, get to the end, realize he'd made some algebraic mistake somewhere early... go back and erase little bits of the whole equation going backwards... finish, announce THATS IT! and then erase the whole board within a minute. He was a real asshole outside of class too. And i still despise him even though he's been dead since 1990. I suppose i should let that one go, eh?

I suggest you forgive him, you're only making yourself suffer.
I've never taken any classes on chemistry or quantum mechanics- nothing like that. The stuff I know is really basic, mostly self-taught to satisfy my curiosity with the world around me. I don't know anything about chemical bonding.
We have a periodic table shower-curtain that I look at all the time. Atoms are a lot different from chemicals. Almost the answers I gotten correct is from the clues given.
Your guys knowledge on this stuff really amazes me.

i was mainly joking but apparently some residual resentment lingers. he pissed me off on a lot of levels on many occasions. I looked it up. he died in '89. i've self-taught myself lots of things... working on mycology currently it really is amazing how much you can find online now for nothing cost wise. you really can give yourself for free (with effort) as much as any undergraduate program would give you, minus the lab work maybe. back in the day you could work and go to school and pay for it and a shitty apt. as you went (like i did with a few pell grants.) Tuition, if i remember correctly, was about 300 a quarter full-time to 18 credits and books ran you almost as much as tuition. Seemed like my biggest money issues at the time involved the damn books. Oh and panama red or jamaican was $35 an oz. to put it in perspective maybe lol Times have changed. long live the internets
and i digress

Hymenoscyphus ericae and some kind of Uranium, I don't understand the extra element thing.

I'm a little confused. U-234, U-235, and U-236 are all radioactive, all found in deleted uranium, and would all be bound up as uranyl phosphates by H. ericae. Which two were you thinking of?

The image of the two atoms in the original guess show Uranium-235 and -236. At work. Gotta go

New one.

This is an example of a class of plant hormones which facilitate interactions between arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and their plant hosts. Please name the class of chemicals, this particular one, and for bonus points describe what these hormones do for the plant-fungus interaction.

Strigolactones?
"Strigolactones are plant hormones that stimulate the branching and growth of symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, increasing the probability of contact and establishment of a symbiotic association between the plant and fungus. Strigolactones also inhibit plant shoot branching, and trigger germination of parasitic plant seeds"

This mycotoxin is also a carcinogen, it is present in several species in this genus of a similar name.
