Well the 2nd pinset is coming along nicely, there are a dozen or so larger fruits with tons of tiny pins. I noticed that the substrate is pulling away from the sides of the tub, I'm pretty sure its too dry. The question is, how do I re-moisturize without hurting my pinset? I don't want to mist and hurt the pins, can I just pour water down the side? Anyone had experience with this sort of thing?

it's not pulling away because of moisture it's being eaten by your mycelium, perfectly normal

Oh that makes sense too. I have noticed also that there is not nearly as much condensation forming on the inside as during the first flush. Could this be from a loss of moisture?

So I just harvested the second flush, it looks good but there seems to be too much fuzz, some of it looks sort of dark:

Does this look like cobweb to you?

Thanks!

Very thin strandy mushrooms and fuzzy feet. You need more FAE. And maybe more light. Not cobweb.

Ya they aren't getting an excess of either of those, so that's probably the problem. Here's the 2nd flush:

Total for this flush is 1.3 g dry. I'm about to start on the next grow, I think I'll be doing a stacked monotub version of what I just did. I think I'll leave this to see if it goes for a 3rd flush

Get some more holes in your tub or some looser polyfill.
