I'm thinking newbie, moved to standard, cultivation, BTW- learn to spell, read a book, and PLEASE don't flood advanced cultivation with stupid questions.

From my experiance The green nasty shit seems to like pretty much the same thing that mushies like. However I am advised that the green shit doesn't like hight PH, thus the reason for CACO3 or Lime being added to some caseings. But I have had limited success with caseings in general.

Only way I've found to keep contams under control is not to give them a chance to start, and once spotted get infected item the hell away from the healthy ones.

I think the most important thing regarding contam control is utilizing a pressure cooker. The elvated temp/pressure seems to do them in rather nicely.

None of the most common contams can live with constant airflow. If you exchange the air in your terrerium 1-3 times an hour, you rarely if ever see a contamed cake or casing.
