these look about the same size no?
complicated.... some strains are smaller and i feel like they tend to be smaller when cased. but you are not getting much of a flush there either. try increasing humidity if possible. that might help with your overall pinset and flush

Aa is funny that way. A tub like that will flush many times so just keep watching out for a big flush.

Aa are very finicky, but it can give good 2nd and 3rd flushes so hopefully it will grow better the second time around.
Recent pioppino harvest on its way to restaurant. The mixed box is what we give as samples to new restaurants.

Very nice Aleon! Nice decurrent gills on those Kings as well Do you grow these all in one growroom? If so I'd be interested to see a pic of how you have them sorted.

Yes all are growing in one room. It is not the easiest, but it does work. IN general keep the low light/high moisture/high CO2 near the ground and the high light/medium moisture/low CO2 on the top shelves. My shiitakes are a little wet though, because i have to keep higher RH% for pinning of the kings.

that is awesome to know as I'm attempting to do similar and you have more or less the same variety i currently have going. As for your air intake and exhaust, how do you have them placed. I'm guessing since you keep the high co2 strains on the bottom you have your fresh air intake coming in the top? I currently have the air intake and exhaust at or relative to ground level with the air coming in at an angle. I hesitated to cut holes in my greenhouse yet to I had a set plan. At the moment i have 2 hydrofarm fans each with a speed limiter and i'm workign on dialing them in as well. I'm pretty sure the air ocming in will have to come in from the top though so the moisture falls to the bottom. Sorry for this flood of info. I have been meaning to dig up my greenhouse post. Also do your shelves meshed or solid shelves? I'vehad a problem with my shiitakes coming out the bottom wire rack i have in my greenhouse. Mainly cause my lights are at about waist heigth since the fram for my greenhouse isn't the most durable so I dont wantt he weight of the lights causing it to collapse. These are all issues i'm currently working on though. I will definitley be referencing this thread over the next few weeks though as I just spawned to 6 poplar bags. Not a whole lot but a start Congrats again on your grow!

There was quite the discussion a few months back on where to place your air intakes and exits. RR was always the one to say humid air is going to rise and to put the air in on the bottom. I personally have had better success doing the opposite. I have no idea why and honestly speaking from a technical perspective humid air will have a tendancy to rise. But in real world by two rooms that are opposite (top one bottom the other on the intake) The one with it on the top does much better with not getting dry spots.
Sorry to the OP for the highjack

Are you referring to the chimnety like exhaust thread? And I'm sorry as well Aleon. Sometimes its easier to just keep the days random chat on the same thread but it all relates back to the fact that I too am doing poplars in a greenhouse with similar expectations. When I look at your grows I definitely see where I want to be by the start of next summer though Your like a role model to me right now!
