The puzzle is where this depth of feeling comes from.
Not really. The true puzzle is how the hell there are still people who are SOOO gimped by their nationalistic blinders that they can't see the forest for the trees.
People like this act as though those who question our place in Iraq, the Patriot Act, Reagan-esque tax faux pas', and personal business interest as national policy are evil little weasels who obviously don't pay enough attention and who are a little too smitten with the Che Guevara posters we must all have hung up in our bedrooms in our parents' basements.
This is the mind numbing part.
And yah.. it's funny how some folks dismiss editorial commentary by folks they don't agree with as inconsequential, biased, and otherwise not worth the virtual paper it's not printed on, but put forth articles like this to seemingly prove a point about how open minded they are and how they just don't "get it". Not funny "ha ha"... funny "peculiar".
