Once Ashcroft's 8 years are up as AG, is there any turning back? Is there any way we Americans can ever get some of our rights back?
By the time Bush leaves office who KNOWS how many of our right will have been taken away. By the end of Bush's term I have a feeling that you will get the death penalty for possession of marijuana.
Is there any turning back though? Any future politician will be very hesitant about giving our rights back because they don't want to be seen as "soft on crime".

That's why we need to get Bush out of office next election. I know you and many other liberals around here don't like to vote for the Democratic party cuz they're supposedly sellouts or because most of them oppose drug legalization, but the number 1 priority next election is getting Bush out of office and stopping this madness. Please, I'm begging you. The Green party can wait 'til the next election.

That guy in that picture has a round clip in his tommy gun. They always show gangsters in movies and shit with the round clip,but it was actually uncommon because they jammed.That's why the Thompson's used in WW2 always had banana clips

Oh,and I believe someone on this forum told me that M-16's didn't have grenade launchers,but I was playing a combat simulation game today and all the riflemen with 16's had grenade launchers.

Ghost Recon...it's realistic as hell besides the violence. It only takes one shot to die and you can only hold a rifle and a sidearm and command your platoon,but you can throw a grenade at someone's feet and they'll fall on the ground intact with a red stain on thier shirt.

Drums still tended to be the most common to due to long period of fireing. I own an old tommy gun with a drum mag never had a bad jam due to it although i never really use the fully automatic capability to try to keep it in pristine condition. BARS were best weapon for gangsters back then anyway

Any gun with an adequate railing system on it can hold an m203 grenade launcher. It may not be the most common thing but its possible. The m203 i own is attached to the swat variant of the m4a1.
And any democrat would enforce just as strict laws on drugs and the matters concerning them.

Fuck anybody that says you can't learn anything from videogames. I know a fair amount about weapons just from playing Medal Of Honor,Wolfenstein,and Ghost Recon.

BARs were made in the good ol USA. Browning automatic rifle. The tommy boys in WW1 used them to rush the german trenches. Sacared the shit out of those krauts. Its somewhat slow but it packs a nice punch.

Now, to re-rail the thread: if rights are regained (which I like to think they will be), it well definitely take some time. Whoever gets elected next year is going to have an interesting 4 years though...
