Oh yeah man, I love the she oak. My wife and I did a trip through the middle of the country for our honey moon. Started here in the Hunter went east to Broken Hill, then down to Port Augusta then up to Uluru through Coober Pedy then North to Tenant Creek and across through QLD to get home.

Oh yeah dude, I make a trip through Adelaide to Northern New South Wales to the farm every Summer, so i know what it's like going through that empty Broken Hill area ahahah, man it's my favourite part of the country. That's an interesting route though, gotta check that out. Never been up at Tennent Creek or inland Queensland. What's it like up that Mount Isa way?

Mt Isa is the biggest hole I've ever been too.
They put a mine upstream of their drinking water. It is the filthiest water I've ever tasted. You could taste the filth over coffee.

Words fail at the disgust I felt as I drank it. I've never had Adelaide water though. Coober Pedy is the best I've had. apparently it's the 4th purest source of water in the country

as a californian i must say i hate eucalyptus trees. they just drop branches on cars. get blown over in storms toppling power lines and houses. and are horrible to jog near cos the seed pods are round and hella hard.
bleck
i can see how id see them differently if they were native though. but i really cant stand em. unless i see fresh chicken of the woods growing out of them!
