which is worse?
    #1942345 - 09/22/03 10:23 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

hey everyone, i'm new here and i just had my first mushroom experience this weekend. my trip started out bed then it got better and turned out to be one of the most amazing things i've ever experienced. i was just curious as to how the physiological effects of mushrooms compare to marijuana and by that i mean like how bad are they for your body such as killing brain cells and stuff like that. thanks

i always feel awesome and psychologically refreshed for like a week after eating mushrooms....i'm pretty sure it doesn't kill brain cells, the only bad effect is some people get nausious, although that's not the case with most people...

If im not mistaken they have never been proven to kill brain cells, although it is a drug so its not "good" for you per-se, although logisticaly, its a safe drug, if used responsibly, smoking is probaly less safe pysiologicaly, due to the means of ingestion, like smoking, smoking anything isnt good for you, just dont do them all the time, and you'll be fine, and im glad you've enjoyed your shroom trip, may many more come to you, and welcome to the shroomery.

I think shrooms help you out in the long run mentally,I have tripped alot before and I honestly think that the mushrooms powers help me out,for instance now I do not fear anything,I mean of course I fear some things but for the most part mushrooms and other mind-alternating drugs have brought out the ME in ME. Mushrooms are awesome and they are older than our founders, they are one of the oldest plants alive, they are older than the dino's,but anyways, mushrooms have to be respected tho,DEFINITLY,if shrooms are mistreated I think they will mistreat you!!!Thats why the INDIANDS prepared mentally and physically before they entered the spirit world! And as for INDIANS the psychedelics seemed to help them and they were in PEACE and thats what we need today,WORLD PEACE,I think some drugs should be legalized and regulated of course,PEACEOUT!!!!!
p.s.-I wish you good luck in anything you might do!!

I don't believe shrooms actually physically damage anything

I say practice moderation anyway - from my experience, the less frequently I trip, the more 'powerful' the trips are for me.

I noticed that me and others can get "weird" if they're tripping at a high frequency.

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.
