Frank... I would never buy a kit, hehe....this was given to me by a complete stranger at a local diner...I have no idea what made the guy choose me, but he walked up to me and offered me the kit so I jumped on it. :shrug:

nice!  mist mist mist!  i couldn't find the quote last night, but RR had a post talking about when he is home, he would religiously mist his oyster every time he remembered because they love water.

indeed... I'm misting them almost every time I go in the kitchen...but not drenching them...I drench them before bed and before leaving for school..but otherwise I give them a couple squeezes off the mister every time I walk in the kitchen basically....depending on how moist they feel to the touch on the backs of my fingers...I try to use good judgement and maintain a cool, moist surface on the caps, but not dripping...

perfect.  in addition to trying to get prints, u should get a clone or two, and then u can grow that out for fun too.  its likely an isolate.

cool. off topic, but in ur sig.  u have that what man (i think thats what their called) filters on ur lids for the jars (2 of them anyway).  how do u like them?  r they for injection or GE or both? are they worth the money?

Those aren't wattman filters...those are injection ports only...the filter is just a plain white filter disk...wattman filters are syringe filters..

Nice oysters! Those look healthy.

I've thought about growing oysters. I have too many areas close to my house where they naturally occur to justify cultivating them, at the moment. If I want some, I can pretty much take a 45 second walk and have em.
