I bought a growkit (Ecuadorian) from Amsterdam and started the growing on the 1st of jan.. now 12 days later i still have no pinheads only SOME white stuff on the surface of the growkit. im pretty new to this but have noticed that by now im supposed to see something?
I add some water to it daily and expose it to some light and oxygen (my bedroom light) otherwise its in my closet. the kit is placed in water inside the bag that was provided with the paper clips and the temp in my room is a steady 24-25 degrees celcius.. I wasnt misting i was just spraying some water on it with my fingers (heard i shouldnt just apply water directly to it)
so i donno... whats going on? will post some pics.

There's your problem. Grow kits quite ingeniously made actually. It's built to separate you from your money very efficiently. It does what you could do better for less money and takes the hassle of having to learn something out of it while costing more money. It's made to be cheap for them to build(higher profits) and just effective enough to give you a couple mushrooms so you don't complain that it failed completely.
good luck

get a mister and mist when the surface starts to dry and follow up with a quick fan, you should fan it out at least hourly

Every hour may be a bit much(you don't want it to get soaked),, but I'd definitely mist and fan it quite often while trying to get it to pin. Water evaporation is a pinning trigger, Mist-fan-dry repeat.

If you are maintaining 25 degrees C temp is not your problem. You could be adding too much moisture and lacking proper gas exchange, You have to let it get humid, you want that bag to have condensation while closed, Your bedroom light is not strong enough put it near a window or try and find a single bulb that is rated at 6500k ( hard to find ) window is your best bet

I have been exposing it more to light (next to window) and misting/fanning it more often as well as opening it up more often for oxygen.. AND THE LITTLE WHITE PINS STARTED SHOWING!!! :)
Should I just keep doing what im doing? anything i should change at some point?
thank you so much for your help guys!
(and yes the temp is somewhat stable between 22 and 25 degrees celcius)
