at least for me yea, I gave a few people 7 grams they split it 3 ways and everyone said it was the strongest trip they had ever done, not that I care about what they have to say. I had 2.25AA+ and 2.25creeper for new years and it was strong, not mind bending, but then again when I've ate 14g I didn't think it was all that mind bending either. I just always seem to have manageable trips, not that im not tripping balls but it's not like what most people say about their trips
My creeper fruits always are tending to be that way though regardless of what culture/strains of creeper I use.

We'll I harvested the fruits it made on the "first flush" made room in my fruiting chamber and now it's in there. Hopefully it will kick ass now.

awesome! i got some work to do tonight, i think I'm gonna try this. i have 1 qt extra spawn, and 2 small containers. i was thinking of splitting the spawn up, do one like urs (grains on bottom, coir/verm on top) and then one with either moist verm on bottom or coir/verm on bottom. any suggestions?

Yea skip the bottom layer. I would even say don't bother casing them just mix your "casing" the coir and verm in with the spawn like everyone does. I only did a casing rather than spawning my spawn to bulk as an experiment. If you want to try out a casing go for it though.
You could do 1.Coir+verm + Spawn all mixed and fruit it after 100% colonization (this is the "best way")
2. Spawn with a casing on top like what I did
or The first option and then add a casing layer when it's fully colonized and put it into fruiting right away.

yep leme find you a link
here
Frank is using a 50/50 casing layer, I would just read from "Casing methods / How to apply the casing layer" onwards. You can substitute the coir+verm mix and use it as a casing layer.

i have a bucket going like this now, except its maybe 1/3 inch. i did a 1/4 inch twice but i think hydrated lime was too much (weirdest looking mushrooms, really small and moist caps, 2nd flush coming along though, hopefully the lime is wearing off), have not tried it with a reduced hydrated lime. ill take pics when i wake up. had long overnight then went to PA farm show directly without sleep! AWESOME mushroom growers there btw got to ask a lot of questions. all white button experiments at penn state but still, it was cool

sorry it's a little blurry, The second flush is coming in with WAY LESS side pins, There's probably close to 100 pins on the top that are just coming in, I thinking this second flush will be nice.
Also I made a few tubs yesterday and had leftover spawn+substrate so I made a tub with 1 inch depth.
it's already like 40-50% colonized and it's only been two days

I guess this is the 2nd flush
I'm a bit worried about that super white spot growing over the stumps on the long side in the middle. Perhaps its green mold mycelium?

I would salt that just to be sure. If it comes back then let it finish the flush and toss it.

Lol, I'd wait for it to turn green. What was the final yield on this one?
